This piece is dedicated to my ancestors & the natives who have had either lost their lives to the tragic genocide that took place on this soil or was effected by it as well as other troubles.

The Fallen
A representation of the natives who we have lost to tragedies of the eastern europeans by Wounded Knee as well as a day most do not acknowledge as a time of reflectance because they just wanna eat food that is all year round and be amongst family.

The Risen
A representation to those who have overcome the tragedies they have had to face for many years and still to this day like the Dakota Pipeline situation or back to genocide of many generations lost to slaughter. Overcoming years of oppression and inequality from the immigrants that came over to steal this land.

This is to those who have and still rise above the negativity, and hate, the bigotry and shine through it all with pride.

Forgive. But let's NEVER FORGET! For this...is American History and WORLD HISTORY!
