Detroit's Jay Sound is back with his next project LP "Horizon". Coming off the 90s ethereal cinematic LP release "JAPAN", this project is his most personal & versatile to date in regards to his previous LP releases.

As he puts it describing what Horizon encompasses "I created this project from the ups & downs from what i went through during the start of the pandemic of Covid-19 and all that it surfaced." Bringing back his Jazz roots and now adding more Bruk into the mix blended with House is truly a journey on this voyage of sonics from Jays visionary mind.

Filled with warm, beautiful chords & riffs from the legendary Fender Rhodes, Wurly & even the classic Vintage Vibe along with bringing the Acoustic Grand Piano back. To his signature deep bass lines blended with jazz breaks & percussion that makes this a unique and visceral experience. On top of adding in ethereal Ambient with moody textures that fill the space of anything empty that lingers with emotion.

From start to finish as Jay states is a story of his life shifting. "This is an album i'v never done before and was super excited and emotional about while creating it. Each track is a story of a larger happening that took place during that time for me and how it speaks to me shifting, broadening my horizons & realizing "Normal" is truly something i can never go back to."

Horizon takes us all into the depths of Jays musical mind and challenges us to think deeper that surpasses music making. Something that reminds us to look beyond our own realities & see how we may impact others by our actions, to remember Art of any form started as a challenge of the norm & status quo.
